That's our forecast for the next few days here in California: Partly cloudy with plenty of sunshine. It seemed a good title for my day.
Sunshine: a good joke
Partly cloudy: a friend inducted into the hall of the scorned woman
K-girl: Yup. Had been cheating on her for weeks before the end. Bastard confessed.
glo: What?! That was the closure he wanted? He called her out of the blue to tell her that he'd spent the latter part of their relationship cheating on her?!
K-girl: You knows it, girl. I told you there was some kinda funky in his junky.
glo: It's only polite to break up with someone before you start sexing up the next person in line.
*all women on the shuttle I was riding start to laugh*
K-girl: Did you just bust that out in public? A'right. I gotta go and get a girl drunk. Oh. Forget I said that.
glo: Trust me. I will. Or I'll try to amidst bouts of worry.
K-girl: Laterz.
Sunshine through a really dark cloud: a bit of good news
Relief planes finally allowed into Myanmar! I have major flashbacks to the Hurricane in the Dominican Republic when I see the pictures and the idea that the government was seizing the supplies while those people suffered just made me shudder to remember a really scary 2 weeks in my life with little food, no water and lots of illness while the rich people in the capitol had "relief" parties catered with the Red Cross food intended for our faceless little mountain village full of unimporant people with the brightest smiles and happiest hearts. I am so glad that help will arrive to another small, nameless village.
Sunshine: a really funny YouTube vid made funnier somehow
