So, the other day this Butch Cop sits down and makes me into her new best friend. She tells me all about her plans to spend Christmas wasted in the mountains. She chatters at me for over an hour on the train, then parts with a jaunty "See you tomorrow! Let's get together sometime."
Not likely. Maybe if it had been one of these cops. But it wasn't. And I've had a bad week.

do you have all your mountain outfits packed yet? get going!
How are you supposed to respond to that kind of thing? Maybe it's better, happening in a bad week. Kind of "group" all the bad and weirdness together, put it in some kind of box. Then throw it away.
And keep going. Though maybe in a different part of the train, at least for a while. You're not her type, but she might be... dense. Series of head injuries or something.
Unrelated: there's also a Princess Barbie. And a Sport Barbie. Who knew?
maybe she's more fun when she's wasted...?
did you hear they're remaking C.H.i.P.s? with wilmer valderrama as Erik Estrada? why does that just seem so WRONG?
Glo, I didn't mean to insult you. I should have said SOME attractive women will turn out to be lesbians. I just happened to notice that in the past.
They forgot Mark Valley as Eddie in Keen Eddie. So what if the show got cancelled? It was a hot American cop (detective, to be precise). In London. What more could a girl ask for in a TV Hot Cop?
where's eddie cahill? and grissom and horatio from CSI: and CSI: Miami respectively are so not hot cops. maybe that's just the 17 year old in me, but I'll stand my ground.
maybe all cops are nicer with a little booze in them. or have I been watching all the wrong shows?
Glo, what happened with the template? why the dark transition? I hate when new stuff happens when I'm gone. i'm not saying i don't like the change (your blog can never be below the bar of totally awesome) i'm just saying it caught me off guard.
off I go to read the tales of rusty!
I have recently had a similar experience with an army captain who seemed to think we were born to be the best of friends ever.
Hope this week started off well!
What about the chick cop from CSI: Miami who used to be on West Wing? Or the new latina on Without a Trace?
That list needs work.
Oh, and I hope this week goes better for you.
Here's to sitting on a row by yourself at work...wha hoo! Our new building puts everyone else back to back...except for me! (until they hire someone else but even then...)
Those at work friendships are interesting.
Happy holidays!
