How to Know When It's Time to Go Back To Work...

I've been in bed for 3 1/2 days with either a nasty cold or the flu. I can never tell the difference. For all I know, I had the measles, mumps AND rubella. One way or the other, I was sick. Yesterday, however, I stumbled on the official 'Get Out of Bed Now, Loser" stamp of wellness:

I commiserated with a character on Price is Right.

Her name is Becky. And her shirt read "Make me holler". I really didn't get that because Becky was, well, not night-life kinda successful, if you get my gist. However, I figured that ultimate cry of sexual desperation deserved my loyalty.

Becky knew the price of cat food, but apparently had shopped for nothing else in the past 10 years. I felt sad. She had a whole gaggle of midwestern daughters along and their simple goal was "to win a bedroom set."

Becky then hit the jackpot on the spin-off. I jumped a little in excitement. She hollered. Oh, yes, she did. And I half-expected her to rip that t-shirt off in unrestrained joy.

She didn't. I was disappointed. And I realized...girl, you need to go back to work.

That's funny.

(And I really stink at Price is Right. I probably couldn't even manage to get cat food right.)

Feel better!

What is the deal with Bob's micraphone? It seems wierdly thin, like everything else in California.

Wow. You WERE sick.

I'm more of a Soap girl when I'm home. Should I be afraid that I figure out what is going on in the first 5 minutes even when I haven't watched for 9 months?

Glad you are feeling better.

Go visit Julia's blog! Link on my page.

That's sad, in so many ways.

I'm sending you the hefty med bill that resulted from my momentary seizure when your original site was suddenly gone. Don't do that to me!

So, is this the landing zone for the G.Lo relo, or is there another?

I'm far more discrete about where I wear my "Make me holler" t-shirt.
