The Weekly Report Feb 24th

Discovery: Frizz-Ease products by John Frieda. They are amazing! Not only does my hair have more bounce, but the curls neither fell nor frizzed during a rainstorm! I'm thinking of gifting this Frieda fella one of my cats out of appreciation.

Decision: I need to drink more water. This doesn't mean I will cut back on Diet Coke, of course. I've merely decided to match it 1:1 - so I'll be spending double the time in the bathroom. My boss will be thrilled that I've taken this important step for my health.

Abandoned Love: The once-adored 2002 Nissan Sentra. The clutch has gone out for the second time. I am not a woman of patience and just fickle enough to replace the freakin' car without a tremor of remorse.

Enduring Love: Pilates. Nothing will tone your body as quickly. In college, my friend ML introduced me to the exercise. I rolled my eyes until I indulged her and noticed an immediate change in my thighs, butt, and stomach. For a girl with ample of the forementioned, the discovery was golden.

Polo Dude Wisdom of the Week: I know there's a light at the end of the tunnel. I just wish the tunnel weren't so damned long.

Motto of the Week (Polo Dude, part 2): If dietitians say the more colorful your diet the better, then jelly beans must be the world's most perfect food.

Cue the Soundtrack of a Busy Week

People are Strange by The Doors*

People are strange, when you're a stranger. Faces look ugly when you're alone. People seem wicked, when you're unwanted. Streets are uneven, when you're down .

When you're strange- faces come out of the rain (rain, rain). When you're strange- no one remembers your name. When you're strange, when you're strange, when you're str-ange.

My parting gift - go and here Hoops & YoYo talk about unrequited love. Talk about the funny!!

*Best sung loud and off-key within earshot of your puzzled and slightly concerned coworkers.

My co-workers are all way past puzzled and slightly concerned. Not that it changes whether I sing off-key...

patience is a virtue that we'd all love to have more of. if you find the secret, please share.

Ah, Polo Dude. When is he going to get his own blog already?

I'm a little confused about the Polo Dude... was I not around for that or am I just... missing something? Ah, well, it doesn't matter to much, he gives good advice and that is pivotal.

Do M&M's count? I'm not much of a jelly bean eater.
I'll see ya in the 'loo - I've been working on drinking 64 fl oz of water each day at work so I have to take a potty break at the top of every hour. The ironic thing is that I've had major skin breakouts...I guess my traitor face just needs the soda for my usually clearer complexion.
Yay for you on Pilates - way to kick some butt.
Yuck! Clutches. You have my sympathy there.

too distracted to comment on all your post's fine points. but am intrigued by hair product. I hope its not only-available-at-salons over here, which it probably is. I need some frizz ease worthy of one cat!
