Glo Does The Running Man

No! Not the lame dance move! The movie - Governator-style Running Man. Only minus the random killings and weird robots (I hope).

I've been on this emotional roller coaster for 3 weeks, and it's time to stop the ride. So, Mrs. Charlie, Roomie (maybe) and I are getting in a car and driving into the desert as far as a little gas can take us. I'm not taking a computer and may even turn off the cell phone. When I get back, I plan to 1) blog regularly; 2) read other blogs regularly; and 3) join a nunnery. I'll let you know how it all turns out starting next Monday. Until then - have a lovely week, don't let the bedbugs bite and stay away from Ryan Phillippe during the SAG awards.

Discovery: I really, truly love babies - even when they're upset.

Confusion: Nope. Still pretty clear. Life is what it is. Best not to think on it too much.

Rant: Didn't leave one uncovered this week. Men... relationships... breastfeeding... Brokeback Mountain... Belly lint... You name it, I ranted about it.

Decision: Time to run away!

Abandoned love: Desperate Housewives (deleted from TiVo without even an attempt at viewing)

New love: The Wonder Tee from Downeast Outfitters

Polo Dude Wisdom of the Week: You'd think black goes with everything, but you'd be wrong.

Cue the Run-away Theme Song:

I've had enough of this, got to break it through
Got to leave all this trouble, living life on the double
And my mind's going mad in emotional muddle
Can't see, can't think, all trapped in a bubble
All I want is to...break out... Break out, break out.

--Breakaway by Basement Jaxx

For Omar....my idea of fun.....sorry it's late, man.

Turn off your cell phone?! Don't even think it, chiquita!

Like there's service in the middle of the desert anyway. Oh wait, that's only true in UTAH deserts.
:-O

Yay desert! Jolly good, have fun, and clear your mind of all the crap. Helathy and all that whatnot. You never know, maybe Kiefer is looking for a house there.

Can I come?
I'm with you on Desperate Housewives...haven't watch it at all this season. I loved Terri Hatcher on 'Lois & Clark' but I really don't like her character now.
With 'Gilmore Girls' and 'Veronica Mars' to watch...that's all the tv this girl needs!
Have a great time! Get lots of fresh air! Sing lots of songs from the '80s! (or whatever decade you desire!)

Deserts are really nice places, I always thought. All that nice, clean (?) sand to look at, gentle(?) warming sunshine, and the silence, aah!

Or is that the beach?

How about... a deserted beach?

You know, a deserted beach on an isolated area of tropical seashore would be the nicest. Great weather and no loud tourists clogging the beaches. I have been neglecting my foreign commenting relations. I vow to be more punctual. :)
