Regularly scheduled silliness will recommence in 5 hours......have a pleasant morning and a bearable afternoon.....
Love,
Glo
5:12 p.m. Glo finally sits back down at her desk. Maybe throwing herself wholeheartedly into her job again was a really bad idea, she ponders as she desperately sucks in sufficient Diet Coke to keep her alive on the ride home.....
Trust Cate - she can find the perfect song for any occasion. Here's a song she sent me that is so perfect that I declare she should be a famous sountrack producer. Because musically she's an intellectual and emotional GENIUS.
Just a Girl She Said - Dubstar
It's alright, I'm just a girl she said. Talk down to me & take me to bed. I don't think. I don't feel & I don't really matter at all. Kiss me in darkness. Turn out the light. Pretend you're with someone else tonight. You don't think. You don't feel & I don't really understand why.
I'm a person who speaks. I'm a person who thinks, but you hope I'll forget as you ply me with drinks & you cannot buy me & you cannot use me, but I know that you'll want to try...

I missed the post?! :(
I had spent the morning formulating a brilliant response to that post. Now it's gone.
And just for the sake of consistency, I'd like to note that you said, "Love, Glo."
And you wonder why guys think you're in love with them.
(I'm now officially done commenting about that, FYI.)
It seems I missed it. Nothing really new there.
I hope this means you're feeling better?
Probablement, demosthenes. But I lost something in translation. "...to want is to provide"? My French is rusty. Wait, this is s'posed to be all about Glo and I'm straying off subject again. Sorry! Nevermind. Hope your day went better, Glo. :)
Sorry to all who missed my whiny interlude - but, alas, I am a public figure and must respect my press secretary's wishes ;)
Omar - I don't believe you.
Dem - I'm so busy swooning right now I don't even have time to contemplate that I have no idea what you said.
Wendela - aren't all things French lost in translation?! (Ha, ha - that was for Dem, too...lol) No worries. I'm all about the selflessness. Happy to see my blogbuddies interacting :)
I studied French for three years, and picked out a few things. Mostly I held onto my favorite "Je ne sais quoi."
But! That song fits very nicely, and I knew that staying up until one in the morning yesterday would be a good idea! Anyways, hope it helped.
The only French I've managed to learn is je suie fatigue. And I'm not even sure about that one.
Crap. Have to give in and try to find a translation for that lame french stuff Dem keeps tossing around....
Awww...Dem....you're the best in any language!
Lia - translates into "I am tired."
