Eloisa James wrote me e-mail! I love her! Love her, love her, love her!
I have only recently resumed reading for entertainment, and within the last several months, discovered Eloisa’s romance novels. So, here is our correspondence, initiated when I visited her web site and couldn’t resist gushing about my love for her works.
My comment:

Eloisa’s response:
>Dear Bec,I have to say, I am truly honored that my books were the ones to drag you back from a romance-free desert! Have you read Loretta Chase's Lord ofScoundrels?
Wishing you the best,Eloisa (who also mourns Judith McNaught's move away from historicals)
I love her! Love her, love her, love her! And will rush out to read her recommendation…

Blech? I wonder if that qualifies as a testosterone drive-by.
Didn't I tell you months ago that you should read Lord of Scoundrels? I see now that I'm no competition for Eloisa James.
Ha, ha...Yes, Josh, it was a testosterone drive-by, but a little injection of the hormone may be just what was needed on this estrogen-filled blog. Thanks for the comments! I'll stop by - cute kid, BTW.
Cate, ever so sorry. Yes, I recall that it is on my to-read list, but I was remiss. What can I say? Eloisa and I are t-i-g-h-t!
